Graco RAC X LTX SwitchTip – Low Pressure Airless Spray Tip

The Graco RAC X LTX SwitchTip is built for spraying latex and low-texture coatings at lower pressure. SmartTip Technology atomizes paints, stains and other materials using less energy, so you get a softer fan and a better finish without cranking the machine. Running at half pressure doubles tip life and takes the load off your pump, hose and packings.

Clogged mid-wall? Reverse the tip, pull the trigger, flip it back and keep spraying. No disassembly, no lost time.

Residential, commercial and industrial spraying - walls, ceilings, siding and large flat areas with latex and similar coatings.

Available Sizes

As a rule of thumb: smaller fan widths (6″) suit tighter areas and trim-adjacent work, while wider fans (10″) cover walls and ceilings faster. The orifice number controls how much material comes out — higher numbers for thicker coatings. Check the technical data sheet for the product you're spraying, or contact the store and we'll match it for you.

• Last two digits (orifice): 09–13 for stains, lacquers and thin coatings; 15–19 for most latex; 21+ for heavy-bodied coatings.

LTX vs. FFLP

LTX tips are the general-purpose choice for latex on walls, ceilings and exteriors. FFLP (Fine Finish Low Pressure) tips produce finer atomization for cabinets, doors and trim where the finish gets looked at up close. Most painters carry both.

FAQ

Will this fit my sprayer?
RAC X SwitchTips fit any airless sprayer using a RAC X tip guard. If you're running an older RAC IV or RAC V guard, you'll need a RAC X guard to switch over.

What does "reverse to clean" mean?
Rotate the SwitchTip 180° in the guard, trigger the gun into a waste bucket to blow the clog back out, then rotate it forward and keep spraying.

How long does a tip last?
Tip life depends on the coating and your pressure. Abrasive materials wear tips faster; spraying at the lowest pressure that gives you a clean fan extends life significantly. When the fan starts narrowing and the edges get heavy, replace it.
