Return Policy

At Southside Paint, your satisfaction matters to us. While we aim to help you choose the right product every time, we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. Please review our return policy carefully before making a purchase.

Final Sale Items

All tinted paints, custom-mixed colours, stains, and decor items are Final Sale and non-refundable.

Once these items are prepared or leave our store, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or offer store credit—regardless of whether the container has been opened or not. Please double-check your order details, colour selections, and product choices before confirming your purchase.

Spillage & Damage

We take great care in safely packaging your order, but once a product leaves our store or is accepted upon delivery:

  • Southside Paint & Wallpaper is not responsible for any spilled, damaged, or mishandled product.
  • Please inspect your order immediately upon pickup or delivery and contact us within 24 hours if you notice damage caused during shipping. Supporting photos and your order number will help us assist you faster.

Return Eligibility (Non-Tinted Items)

For unopened and unused non-tinted items, such as tools, supplies, or accessories, returns may be accepted within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:

  • Items must be in original condition and packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is required.
  • Return authorization must be requested by emailing info@southsidepaint.ca. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).
  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply on discretionary returns.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product:

  1. Please contact us at info@southsidepaint.ca within 24 hours of receiving your order.
  2. Include your order number, description of the issue, and photos (if applicable). 
  3. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue quickly, whether that means a replacement or refund.

Custom Orders

Please note: Custom and special-order items are non-returnable, unless defective or incorrect.
