Fits inside your Contractor PC Compact spray gun as the last line of filtration before the tip - catching dirt, dried paint chunks, and skin before they can plug your tip or show up as spits in the finish.

Contractor PC Compact spray gun only. This is not the same filter as the standard-size gun filter - if you're not sure which gun you have, check before ordering.
Choosing your mesh
- 60 mesh (black) - for thicker materials like primer and latex paint
- 100 mesh (blue) - for thinner materials like stains and lacquers, where finer filtration protects a smaller tip orifice
Rule of thumb: thicker material, coarser mesh; thinner material, finer mesh. Using too fine a mesh on a thick material just means more downtime clearing a clogged filter.
Why it's worth keeping spares
A torn or clogged gun filter is one of the most common causes of a spitting, inconsistent pattern that gets blamed on the tip or the pump. Cheap to replace, easy to check first.
